Adam McGill
A seasoned GNCC racer on OBOR Advent tyres who makes time for the young riders coming up behind him.
Adam McGill lined up for his first GNCC (Grand National Cross Country) national at seventeen and now races the top ATV class, XC1 Pro. GNCC is America's endurance cross-country series: three hours of woods, mud, rocks and roots, where the result often comes down to how much grip is left in the last lap.
For Team OBOR he runs the Advent ATV Sport, 21×7-10 up front and 20×11-9 at the rear, choosing between the soft and firm compound to suit the track. That choice, he says, is what lets him commit on any course.
Racing is not only about results for him. He spends a lot of time helping young riders at their first races, which earned him an ambassador award in 2018. Away from the track you will find him on a mountain bike or camping at the races with his dogs.
